I see lots of perch reports off Lorain and some steelhead reports off Vermilion, but I don't see anyone talking about walleye action off Lorian or Vermilion. Has anyone done any good lately? I am considering going for the perch off Lorain one last time tomorrow, but I now have a good amount of perch in the freezer and would like to get into some walleye one more time before I finally put the boat up for the winter.
I can't speak about Lorain, but since the "blow" the action for eyes has been very slow from Huron to Vermilion this week. I don't know if the school is simply scattered, moved - or both. Heard of only a few fish taken in very small pods each day. The radio talk on 79 has been fairly open and helpful lately.
I'll be "searching" again Sat & Sunday.

Check this website under "fishing reports" sounds like they had a great bit lately in Huron area. www.indianawalleye.com
Alot of nice fish were being caught Saturday. 38-40fow, from NE of the Huron River to a few miles West of Vermilion River. Most fish taken were up high, 10-20 ft down.
