3 of us got 90 perch with alot of sorting with alot of 10-12" fish.Straight out from the power plant 47 fow(dumping grounds I think)They really turned on 10:30 till 12:30 along with the wind which was really cracking.

Same here with us out of Cleveland...lots of sorting we ended up with 4 13inchers and 10 that were 12. By the way it was great fishing with your crew on Friday and hope to get the chance again.

As Arnold says "I'll be back".I am very interested in hitting it in spring say March,April.Some of the reports I have gotten indicate you can do well then on the bigger fish.I hope you got caught up on your sleep.We ended up with 8 gallons of fillets.Hope to do it again soon.

In May when they are spawning the area we were in was really good for big fish this spring for us. Sleep was at a minimum this weekend since I worked until 3am Sat and then fished again all day Sunday.

Are you saying that those are deep water spawning perch or do they stage out there.Around home most of the perch come in shallow to spawn. When you get into them in May are the males milking and females loose? Or are you getting them after they drop their eggs?
Either way I would be very interested in getting in on the action.
I'll make it a point to remind you in Spring.

Im not sure if they were spawning there or staging but the males were squirting all over and the females still had bellies full of eggs, give me your email address and I'll shoot you a picture of one of these females from the spring there.
