Fished off Vermilion this afternoon with NO LUCK. Water is clearing nicely but it's cold! 34-35 degrees almost anywhere we went both shallow and deep, east and west. We did not mark any quality fish but there is lot's of baitfish just west of Vermilion.
Good luck to anyone heading out later this week. Water off Huron still looked stained.

I was going to go to Huron tonight but stayed home to take care of the wife and kid who both just got the flu. Man I sure hope I don't get it! I think it would have been a great night untill the rain started, but I would have been hiding under the boat top with my heater on nice and dry untill I had a fish on!! :)
I need to go soon! Before I go crazy !!

Hey Marc,
Tad and I fished the cleaner water near Vermilion to no avail and checked the dirtier water off rt. 61 in 17 to 28 ft. where I caught all my night fish this year. Nice marks but no takers. There were gulls all over the area and plenty of baitfish. We only fished two hours.

Thanks Gregg,
I'm in the process of cleaning out the boat and probably won't be taking it out again unless Christmas day is better than they forecast. Give me a call if you ever need a passenger.
Does anybody know what the water looks like off the Marblehead lighthouse or Gem beach areas?
I wanna know
