Was wondering if either of these two lakes are still wide open. Would like to try with a boat possibly this weekend. The temps here in Cleveland have been in the mid 40's or today lower 50's.

Has anyone been up to Fish Conneaut lake by any chance. Was thinking of hitting it Saturday if I dont have to work. Heard you can catch some nice eyes in that lake. Any info would be nice, only fished it once in the summer caught a few pike, perch , and crappie.

With the frigid cold air that is about to smack Northeastern Ohio this week, is it possible that either Pymatuning, Mosquito or LaDue will be frozen over and ready by this weekend? They are calling for single digits night time with day time highs in the mid twenties.
Did not get a chance to go out this weekend on account of the front that came in bringing snow, sleet and ice to the area. Any one else get out?

I would think Ice is very possible but with the rains and flooding last night I really wonder if the water clarity will be anything but mud.

spent the last several days up at pymy but i didn,t fish we just kinda hung out, the lake was wide open besides a small amount of chunk ice here and there, never saw a boat on the water the whole time up there and the lake looked prime and now with this weather change coming it should start icing over.
