Gogebic report

Just came back from 9 hours on Gogebic. Did prety good on walleyes, 5 fish from 16 to 23 . No perch yet tho. Don't think the wigglers are coming out of the mud yet. When they do the perch fishing will pick up. Let you all know when.

We got back from gogebic on Tuesday. We hammered the walleye every day. we caught limits every day, biggest 28 inchs. No perch. 4 pike. I heard the perch bite is the best in late ice, march is when they catch the "teeter pigs". good luck guys...EJ

Hey Risor. How did you guys do at Gogebic this weekend? Just curious. I was going to go today but the wind chill is at 25 below so I think I'll wait a few days.

The fishing went down hill fast.We ended up with about 30 perch 8eyes and a few snot rockets between 7 guys.We had rain,snow,wind and cold in the 3 days we were there.Not the best conditions but better than work anyday.Largest perch I had was 14" biggest eye about 20" lots of small eyes must have caught 30-50 good sign of things to come.We were targeting the perch for the most part.Stay warm and use big minnows.I'd like to say thanks to SevenMMM AKA Rick Larson for fishing with us.We WILL be fishing together again.

We fished Thursday afternoon and Friday, caught a few walleyes and suckers, but no perch. Hopefully when I make it back in a couple of weeks we'll do better. It's still a little early for the perch I think.
