Has anyone tried these? I have a buddy who found them at Fleet Farm in West Bend on sale for $34/each. He is looking for a pair of backup reels for when he fishes with his wife or friends without gear. He said that they looked like a good value. Any experience?

I just bought 4 of them at fleet farm in green bay for $35 a piece for leadcore. I got the size 30, size 10 would be good for regular mono or fireline trolling. I hope they work well, if they do, that is a very good deal for $35!!

I have the same reel in the non-linecounter version. Used it all last season for big flatheads and channel cats - no problems at all. Should make an excellent trolling reel for the money.

How is the drag? Is it smooth enough to use superline? Thanx!
