Julia Davis, a.k.a. Juls, will be a guest on Fishing the Midwest television this week in most Midwest markets. Juls is a frequent visitor/poster on Walleye Central. She is also one of the only female walleye anglers to regularly participate in professional walleye tournaments, is a free-lance outdoor writer, and works at Dick Smith's Live Bait and Tackle in Delafield Wisconsin.
The segment featuring Juls was shot on a couple of lakes in the Oconomowoc WI area. Walleyes and largemouth and smallmouth bass were taken.
The final segment of Fishing the Midwest this week features Loren Waalkens, a fishing guide from Lake City, MN. We throw minnow baits to shoreline areas and have fast action from walleyes, as well as white, largemouth, and smallmouth bass.
For times and stations in the various markets, look under T.V. Show on the fishingthemidwest.com site.

Bob, Thanks for the update. We appreciate your show and the effort you have put into your profession.
F.everyones.I. I had contacted Bob a couple of years ago and asked him some questions. He was able to write back, and I realy appreciated that. Matter of fact, of the few profesional fisherman I have spoke with, they have all been cordial and friendly. It's great to be involved in a sport which treats the customers with respect. No Million dollar contract hold outs here!

Hey Eddie,
The handline episode I did with Bob and Bruce DeShano should be airing on March 17th I think. This one is jig fishing and planer boards.

Juls does that fishing show on handlining broadcast over here on the east side of Michigan? I would like to see it and see how the modern handliners do it. Over here that is the only way we fish 90% of the time. Have A GOOD DAY! Eric

You can find a listing of broadcast times and channels available at www.fishingthemidwest.com. I'm not sure if you will get it or not. I think if you have digital tv (dish) you can pick it up.

BE! What's the story on this Twister thing? Inquiring minds (and nosey ones too) need to know.

It's a chat room running joke type thingy, nothing that would keep her from running for the presidency.
She is a tall long legged thing so it came from that and nothing else, sorry no dirt behind that post.
Juls is a good girl, and besides, she may kick my butt if I push it too far!
