I recently purchased a new boat and applied for a Mercury sponsorship. They sent me an application for their Pro Team. One of the requirements is to submit a pro plan from my dealership. They have never sponsored anyone before and dont know what a pro plan is. Can anyone help me out on this. I would really appreciate it. thanks

I just went through this also, and was not sure what they wanted. I gave them an idea of how I would work with my dealer at shows, sponsoring events, and any other places that my dealer could us me, to promote their (Merc) products. My dealer agreed that if he would need some help at a sport show to promote his Mercury line he could call me and I would give him a hand at a booth or in any capacity he would need me. Not sure if that is really a plan, but I think Mercury wants you to be involved in helping your dealer promote Mercury products. My dealer thought the same way, so I submitted it that way. Haven't heard from Mercury yet, so I don't know if I was right.
Good Luck,

I know they are interested in the plans you have for the years tournaments, and I listed all of them. That is a different section of the application. There is a section where they ask for the plan to work with the dealer. I was assuming that this is what was being asked. I think the section about the dealer is what they are really interested in, because they want you to work with the product and promote a positive outlook for their dealers. I really think the application is in place to let Mercury know that you are interested in promoting a professional and positive image for their product.
I guess I'll find out what it is all about if they accept my application. Being my first year in professional fishing, I have lots to learn about the system and how it works.
