took a ride down to east 72nd and edgewater to check on conditions. both launches are wide open with no ice in sight.

What's the earliest anyone has done well perchin' at 72nd lighthouse? March? April? I was there last March dodgin' icebergs and did't do any good but neither did I fish very long. To much ice and wind. Is there such a thing as too early once the ice clears?

SAW MY FIRTS BOAT AT 72ND STREET LIGHT HOUSE TODAY. HE WAS MOVING AROUND A LOT. WHICH TELLS ME HE WAS NOT DOING TO GOOD. KEN
