The ice is all but gone on our local reservoir, the females are starting to run up the tailwaters to the dam. What are some likely areas to concentrate on in the lake. This reservoir is no more than 60 feet deep in the main lake basin, has some rip rap on the face of the dam and one small tributary feeding it with very limited boat access. Bottom is silted in with very little gravel or sand that I know of. There is probably very little if any natural reproduction in the lake but the walleye population is good for Indiana standards due to stocking programs. Any one have any advice besides, moving out of the "Arm Pit of the World" of walleye fishing?
