Finally..A Fish Report!

A few weeks back it looked bad for the season finale on our local river here in upstate NY. The launches and bays were still iced in..then came the sudden thaw and flood conditions! The fish and weather Gods finally decided to give us a break and the water dropped, stayed slightly stained, and conditions were perfect for the last five days! I was able to pick up my limits of nice eaters almost each trip down. My biggie..although no Erie fish..was an 8# eye and I finished up with a 5#er as the sun was setting on the last day. Now comes that excruciating wait till the season re-opens! At least I got one last lick in! Good Fishing, Sluggo (Chris)

I don't even feel sorry anymore for all the money we took from them during our fishing contests! Just wait till his wife finds out he put an 8#er back in! (he is supposed to bring ALL walleye home to his wifes waiting fry pan)

You may be right on in regards to my 'invalid' partner. My guess is that Pete is somewhere between outpatient and home after getting some kidney stones broke up. He was a hurting unit Saturday, don't figure he could have handled that hard seat in the river boat!
