Rainy River open by the Manitou Rapids

Hi guys, just wanted to let people know that I been fishing the river at manitou rapids for last few days. Fishing isn't fantastic but have steady action all day. Only small boats that can be put over side of ice will work.

New report, some big fish being caught as of late. One day had 23 fish between 4 and 8lbs. caught. Walleye seem to be all over the place eddy's, shallow water, deep water. Minnows, plastics and cranks all working well, caught most using jig and minnow and bigger ones. I do know the Long Sault Rapids is open but don't know how far down.

What color of plastics?

I mostly been using white plastics, tried yellow, green, pink, orange, but caught most on white power baits.
