Triple Grip trebles

I note that many people swear by the Mustad triple grip trebles as crankbait replacements. However, when I looked at the BPS and Cabela's catlogs, they list several different triple grips. One type is short shank, another in long shank, a third is their super sharp type (short shank, I think). which do you use? Thanks.

I swear by tripple grips and use the regular tripple grips. I usually use a short shank on the front hook and long shank on the back. Hope this helps!!

I order my Triple Grips from Stamina Tackle. They have excellent customer service. http://www.staminainc.com/ I think you will find they have very competive pricing. I use the regular shank size. With my last order Andy sent me a short shank #2 sample and there was very little difference in length. Stamina's terminology is short and regular. I'm unaware of a long shank version. Most Triple Grips will be sharp out of the box- especially the smaller sizes. I do occasionally have to touch up the larger ones. Good Luck. JC
