Muskegon Lake... Lake Michigan???

Any fishing reports out in the arms of Lake Michigan coming from Muskegon Lake would be a great help.
I have yet to go there this spring and hope it's not too late.
I'm talking about fishing outside the pier heads knowing walleye season is closed in Michigan.

Reports I read yesterday said Steelies are in and at the mouth of the river, and that some Browns are being picked up trolling shallow in the big lake.

I would think that if the Browns are coming in following the bait, so will the eyes.
