did well, for me, on bruce lake today...got 21 gills...all males...all in water less than 1 ft deep...hot bait was a tiny black ratfinkee..think #10....tipped with wax worm...drifted the main part of lake w/o one hit...multiple depths....three rods....a local fello suggested i try the docks by the resort with sandy beach on the west shore...i went there but no hits...so i was headin to bass lake and i got off the channel to whities and into the muck on the east side of the channel...all kinds of bluegills were darting away from my boat!!....glad i was lookin down....caught about 5-8 right there...and just kept workin the edges and pickin up fish here and there....about 1/2 were 8-9 inches...steve
