Does anyone know if there is a tournament on Waubay Lake this weekend? My wife had heard there was but I haven't heard that. We were thinking of fishing there this weekend.

Thanks!

F-M Walleyes Unlimited, Inc. fishing club is holding a members-only outing on Waubay this weekend. Small entry fee, trophies only, no cash. Generally just a fun event for members, especially kids. You can join the club for a $15 membership. They will be holding the event out of Breske's West Bay. I believe the hours are 8-4 or 5 Saturday and 8-2 on Sunday.

So.. how did the tourney go? how is the bite on the lakes in that area? considering heading that direction or to the MO river this weekend. Can anyone help with my decision?

My son in law was at a meeting in Chamberlin on Apr 24, and he said the boats were filling out with 17" walleyes in about 1 1/2 hrs down by Crow Creek.

Fished Sat & Sun..was first time on the lake..can't believe the action & fun...my partner and I caught well over a 100 on Sat..mostly 15", some 16, jigs tipped with minnows, plastics, etc..some were crankin..
Had a blast..did get pretty rought on Sun, so only caught about 60 before we left..depending on weather may head back down this Sat..
