Managed 5 walleyes for a total of 25 lbs. with the largest at 27". We fished most of the day west of Middle Island. Marks were significantly less than last week. We had a full spread of dipsey's with spoons and crawler harnesses, big boards with ripsticks and husky jerks up high and reef runners down deep. 4 fish came deep, 1 shallow. No particular pattern or area ever emerged, just pick a fish here, pick a fish there. Tough bite today. Radio would not transmit, my apologies to those who tried to reach us. Pics on my website.

Fished North of Kelley's what a rainy day it was 1 fish about 26 inches. Missed 1 at the boat which usually don't happen when I'm using reef runners. I just thought I'd ask a silly question what is the procedure when you guys find a school of fish. Because thats what happen to me Saturday the we came across a big school thats when both fish were hooked. I wish I had enought experience to know how to stay on the fish.

Every fish we catch, we put a marker on the GPS. After 4 0r 5 fish, you start to develope an area to figure 8 troll through. We have even on occasion, found two seperate active 'pods'and troll back and fourth hitting each one. Great technology, as valuable as sonar.

Hey Gary, I heard you call, couldn't get back. I hope to have it fixed next weekend.

Caught four fishing between A and B can north of the range on Saturday. Only four bites from 9-3. Biggest was 25 inches. Reefrunners 60 back in Bubblegum. We sure need some stable weather.
