Hello,
We are coming to this area on the 26th of May. Can anyone help us {10} Cheese Heads from Wis. in locating the "HOT" bite that might be available to us. We know alot depends on the Weather Conditions. Would like to know the best baits, depths to fish them, colors, speeds, etc. Thanks, Titeline

Titeline,
Sounds like you will be ready to troll. Most of the charter boats that troll will be running Spoons off Dipseys and/or Jets then. Cranks will definitely still catch fish. Just keep your eye on here before you head down and also on Dean Clifton's "Denied" webpage for daily updated reports of the wester basin. Most popular spoons are Michigan Stinger scorpions and regular size. Most popular cranks will be Reef Runners. Happy Hooker bait & tackle shop on the corner of Route 2 and Humphrey Road (where you turn off of Route 2 to go back to Turtle Point) will have all the local stuff you need - great selection of Spoons and Cranks.
Stop on over to Wild Wings bar & grill (1 mile to the East on Route 2 - behind Marathon Gas Station) for a chilly one in the evening and share stories with the other fishermen in the area.
Steve

Thanks for the info. FreeByrd. We'll definately take your advice into consideration. Will you be around at the "Watering Hole in the eve. ?
Would like to meet with you to compare "notes", etc.
