I admit I liked the old glass Cherokees and with Genmar purchasing some more boat plants my mind wandered right into the thought of Lund potentially building another glass fishing boat. The Cherokees where actually Larson hulls but Lund turned them into fine fishing rigs, for that period of time anyway. Just a thought.....

I don't think it will ever happen. My dealer sits on the board. he says if they ever do he will give there first boat free.

Lund use glass on their 21 & 24 cuddys. We have 1 & would love to have a bigger one but they don't like cuddys.
They did real well with the glass

They'll go nicely with the alum Tritons and Rangers.

I doubt if Lund will get back into the glass boat market, but their old glass boats were awesome boats. You're right, they were Larson hulls. I had a Lund Nisswa Guide with a 60hp tiller for many years and it had a great layout with lots of room and had by far the best ride of any 16' boat I've ever been in. My motor had problems and I used that excuse to buy a bigger boat - still have the old Guide though if anyone's interested.

This is not going to happen.
