Will be going to Stockton Lake in western MO over July 4th weekend. Has anyone been doing much. Would appreciate any info on walleye or crappie. Trolling, bait rigs, etc. I have fished this lake a few times without much success.
Thanks in advance for your help...eyesnatcher
Fished Stockton lake last weekend. Caught lots of fish, but very few over 15 inches. We caught most of our fish trolling the flats with Hot-n-Tots in shad & chrome & black. Average depth range was around 15 feet. You'll have to wade through all the shorts to get a few keepers, but still fun!

That's the way it's going for everyone this year. Very unusual...
eyesnatcher, if you're looking for good flats to troll try the Big Sac arm between Mutton Creek and Birch Creek, and in Sons from Ruark Bluff to Greaser.
