Thanks!!

Steve, You pick the best dates. Anytime between June 13 and the 20th the action is good. A warm weekend has put water temperatures near 59 degrees and should signal baitfish to move in, hopefully slot-size walleyes will follow. Dont be afraid of using jigs tipped with minnow and leeches in sharp drop offs. The big bays toward east past the west islands past are starting to produce. Reports of slot-fish catches becoming a little more common over the weekend. Some report shallow catches using phelps floaters and leeches in 5-10' of water. The most consistent catches are from those studying their depth finders, when the walleyes move off the bottom from deep water towards 25-35' deep shelves or reefs, they tend to take the bait. Both Kabetogama and Namakan report the best action is in the 6-15' depth, producing fish over the slot-size as well as northern pike and smallmouth. Slip bobbers, lindy rigs or round head jigs with minnows still the best offering. Chrome jigs working well this past week. Shad raps and husky jerks tend to spur action in the 10-18' shorelines.
Namakan is my favorite of all lakes!
Thanks man,
Went out and picked me up a few chrome jigs last night...
