Does anyone out there owna model7420 or 7500 and can tell me what you think of it.
I have a 7520 which is identical to the 7500 (except it handles an additional transducer and can standalone without a Pinpoint positioning motor). The 7420 is the same, except built with a cheaper/smaller screen.
The 7520 is absolutely phenomenal! I had an X85 which I gave away to my son when I got a second Pinpoint to replace it. Resolution and target separation are great, and the operation is easy to learn and very flexible. The ability to "backtrack" the screen to look at things with different sensitivity, and the ability to simultaneously look at up to 3 different transducers have changed the way I fish.

I have used a 7500 and 7520 the last two years and have been very happy with them. I just got a 7420 and expect the same performance -- it just has a narrower screen. One of the advantage of the 7500 or 7520 is when you split the screen and can look at the front and back transducers at the same time -- if hooked up to both.
