What depth and speed were you doing? I was in the same area both days and could only manage 8 Walleyes total (with big dipsies, large and small Stinger spoons and watermellon harnesses (no plugs)). Workdog
workdog, we were in around 70ft. the fish were around 40 to 50 ft. down. the best was six colors of leadcore straight out the back. hope this helps!!]

How long of a leader are you running w/ the leadcore. What Pound Leadcore.

Thanks for the info. I was running six dipsies, 43-52 ft deep in 69-75 ft water. Most of the fish I was marking were at 45-55 ft deep. Guess they didn't like dipsies much this past weekend.

we were also in 70ft. of water. We did very well using dipsies with willow leafs. 3 1/2 setting down around 50ft. - 60 ft. Marked a lot of baitfish at 45ft.
fishhawk,
we run 50 ft. leaders on 27lb. lead core. they say it doesn't matter what the lb. test is, the only difference is the sheath over the lead.

Can anyone tell me how far you have to go to get to 70 ft of water out of conneaut. Looking to do some trolling and any info would help. How about any info on what to troll.
