Was wondering about jet divers. How well do they track? how hard do they pull, will my 941 trollin rods handle the ones that go down about 40 ft? Can you run them 6 abreast on planer boards. Just lookin for another way to get a little deeper than leadcore can get me. Also I heard there are some that pop loose when hit and float up the line to the surface. Is this true? Any help apreciated, thanks.
I think your 941s will hold the 30 Jets that will go to 40' with around 150' of line. The 30s turn over with a fish and in some ways are easier than the 20s. yes you can run 3 on each side ( some guys run 4). You talked about lead core, and they will be no problem at lead core speeds. Tracking wise you do need to turn them to get em going real true. Probably don'tneed to say it, but they are only effective with spoons, harnesses or stick baits. good luck.

Do agree with the 20 vfs 30 jets,, I like the 30 better than the 20 jets,, They seem to not want to turn over with fish and are hard to bring in.. We often just shorten up leads on 30 jets to keep right depth.. We also use weight on the jets to get them deeper, Usualy 1-2 ounces.
God luck
