Can anyone tell me about this item? How does it work? Can you tilt the motor up and down, and can you use the motor without removing it? Pro's and Con's would like to be heard if any. Thanks to all who answer. JJ

BracketPro how does Your unit work and what does it do. I am having problems with my 9.9 merc bucking in reverse,it will not lock vertical in reverse in cold weather-dealer says its wear and tear after having it in the shop 3 times(i will be looking for a different dealer when i order my boat in 2002). i am kind of tired of fighting it and have wondered if there is alternative to just going with a powertrim and/or jackplate.thanks

hi guys! this is robert ,from bracketpro.lets see. 1st question. our product is a fully universal kicker motor support bracket. which means simply, whether your running down the road or running down the lake, you have to support your kicker, because of the weight, and the bouncing, and the reasons they break is because the motors are not designed as kickers , we just simply use them for that purpose. there fore ,to eliminate breakage and wear and tear on your kicker , not to mention your transom ,we have designed a product. that fits every motor,2stroke-4stroke. that fits all boats, that is 304stainless steel, has a lifetime warranty,is fully adjustable, bolts on in minutes, only weighs3.56lbs, and it swings up and down with the motor , every time . no need to get your hands wet .this product is so simple, that it works every time. you never take it off, because it swings with the kicker.its very simple yet its exstremly tough.please go to our website and read thru it . our site has alot of info . also please go to the chat archives and read thru our last chat . thers alot of good info on there to . the easiest way to get all questions answered is to call us. its much easier to exsplain the product and what it can and will do for you. our product eliminates kicker motor support failures, plus numerous other problems that occure when your motor is not FULLY SUPPORTED. so please call us we are very easy to talk to and we take pride in our product, and the most important part is . YOU THE CUSTOMER. its that simple. thank you very for your time. our # is 262-644-5337 robert our website is www.hnet.net/~bracketpro or go to home page at w/central type in bracketpro . click on the pics and read thru the web site.. thankyou
