I'm know running a moterguide brute 50" shaft w/ a gator mount. My problem is the shaft lengh is a little short for my bow, when in moderately ruff water, I need too put the moter all the way down and when I pull it back up it doesn't fit in the gatermount, must re-adjust so it will lock in. On short drifts, jiggin, this is a pain. Is this common ? Do I have proper size mount? Do 60"+ shafts have larger mounts or am I missing something thanks for any advise or info .GOOD LUCK GOOD FISHIN

Motorguide's "Big Water" Gator mount will solve your problem. The extra length allows for a deploy/stow of the entire length of the shaft without messing around with the collar for depth adjustment. The hole pattern is the same as the Gator mount- no additional holes in your boat. You can order one through Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops and sell your old mount on ebay. Good Luck. JC
