Speckled & Lake Trout Presentations

I will be spending a week in Quebec,the last week in august.Can anyone give me info on presentations on fishing speckled & lake trout,I will be flying out 3 of the 5 days for walleye & pike, but 2 days I will be on a lake with trout.Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I do not know if this will help, I have hunted Caribou that time in Quebec we were about 1000mi. north of Montreal and fished for Lakers after succecfully filling are Caribou tags, useing tackle provided by the guides, very fancy eguipment, 6' casting rod and low cost reel, terminal tackle 18" of coat hanger with a loop in the middle and at both ends, one end to rod, in middle drop a 12" barn spike in loop, 3' line to silver flutter spoon with barbless hook. Let out 50-100' of line and troll at just above idle speed. We would cacht 2-8lb. fish all day long. The guides said the big ones where staging to spawn. Not very high tech but it worked.
