I am new to the whole trolling with a dipsey technique an I had a question. Where does the snubber go? Does it go in front of the dipsey or behind? What does the snubber do?
Thank You

bigdeal,
the snubber goes behind the dipsy....between the dipsey and your leader. It's purpose is to absorb shock, since you only have a 5'-8' leader behind the dipsy. Mainly for hard hitting fish.

If you are new to the dipsey trolling scene you may want to try the Slide diver it dosen't need a snubber and your lead to the bait can be varied to suit the water clarity and how spooky the fish are. Dipseys and slide divers both, are good tools for trolling, the Slide Diver is a little different to use but it can be very effective.
