The fishing continues to be pretty darn good on Little Bay. Both trolling crankbaits and jigging/drifting with redtailed chubs. Have spoke to folks doing real well during the day and also at night, so I don't know which is more productive. I spoke to a couple guests Monday morning when they checked out, and they had a riot landing 54 walleye over the weekend (only kept 3). That is good fishing in my book. About the only thing causing smaller catches is the weather and specifically wind direction. When the wind cooperates (either north or south), the guys trolling are doing real well. Most of our breaklines run north and south. Purple Prism Thundersticks continue to produce. And Matzuo Prism Shads as well. Almost forgot, a friend told me he did good on Rainbow Trout Challengers too. And another good friend of ours landed 5 keepers ( 16"-19") in 51 minutes last night just shorefishing! Caught them all on a suspending Thunderstick. I promised I wouldn't say which color, and will keep that promise (sorry). There are also plenty of fish still coming on spinners and crawlers too. Kenneth had a water temperature of 49 degrees yesterday. He is back on the water today,Friday, and Saturday, and it figures, the wind is suppose to be out of the west!!!The bay is full of fish folks. As long as the weather cooperates, you can expect awesome fishing now until ice-up.
