Yup,, She's a babe! I still have NO clue as to what lakes you two were on?? Never really said?
Not much traffic on the first lake,,,Should that be a clue?? Do tell Juls. Looks like the fishing was ok that day anyway.Best of luck this season!

Nicely done, Juls!! Just a few things to add: I think the lakes you fished were Lac La Belle and Pewaukee. And second, I notice a bit of attitude in you when in the boat. I just want to warn you that since we plan to fish two tourneys together you will need to lose the attitude before you get in the boat!! Remember, the Captain is always right and any disagreement with said Captain will be viewed as an act of treason. I have a 1x6 I use as a board for trolling Lake Michigan w/downriggers and it will serve as a plank for you to walk should you committ any treasonous acts!! LOL!!

Aw come on! How can you not have attitude when your talkin' about bass? ;-) I just don't get it. (LOL).
Walk the plank? Yeah, right! We'll see who walks the plank you........you, you...Bass Lover! Hah!
Juls
P.S.
Sorry Ness, I'm not really bashing bass here. I think I said something on the show like, "bass are easy to catch. You can just hit any shoreline or dock and catch a bass, but walleye are harder to figure out." Once I said it, all I could hear was Homer Simpson in my head yelling out "Doh"! LOL I knew right then I was going to get some ribbing about it. Twice Bob Jensen teased me about it. Every time he caught a bass he would say something. How's the saying go? Open mouth, insert foot? LOL Oh well, live and learn, right? ;-)

Jerry nailed it. The first lake we were on was Lac LaBelle. There is a 20" size limit and a limit of one fish. Everything we were catching was in the 15-18 inch range. It's a great lake to fish when your a catch and release angler and just want to practice techniques, and have some fun. If your a meat hunter or a trophy hunter though, you would be better off going somewhere else.
The second lake was Pewaukee lake. As you saw, all we got was that one little 9" eye on the boards. Great footage of the how well the Tattle Flags worked though! Don't you think? ;-)
Thanks for watching! (and for the kind words).

Caught what I could due to the fact I have too darn many remote control's laying around so it was a rat race. LOL, can ya picture it.
I was hoping to tape it all and send it out to T-Mac as he doesn't get the shows out in the Styx, so he say's?

Nor do the west coasters?

Sounds like you West Coasters need to ask your local TV/Cabel to get MidWest Outdoors. They may just pick it up yet for the season if ya nag-nag-nag them a bit?

Juls...
Jason, Pat Byle, and Mel all were watching and cheerin' you on!!
The heck with the politcally correct bass talk. You calls'em as you sees'em. say... we were wonderin' , did you pick the sweater to match " The Hat" I noticed the gold tone and was curious.
The other thing was when Bob asked what you're favorite fishing was?? Answer??? Harnesses in Green Bay on day two??
We were wondering?

We didn't get it in central Minn because the blizzard blocked the signal from the satellites -- DSS isn't so red hot in bad weather.

Wow! To have you guys cheering me on, means a lot to me Eric! Thanks!!!!
Your right about the sweater. Matched the hat. Besides that, I knew it was going to be a bluebird sky, and being a female we always accessorize don'cha know! What is the complimentary color to blue? Yellow of course. ;-) Heheh
Hey, and by the way, Day 2 hadn't happend yet, but you know darn well, if it had, it would have been my best fishing story!

Hey Drift'r,
Bob emailed me today after seeing your post, and thought that he would send you a copy of the show I did, and also, the show he did with Scott and Zach, if you get him your address. You would then be in charge of passing it around the room. What do you think? You game?
You can email him at bjensen@frontiernet.net if your interested.

:)
I was able to watch it twice, first on the Green Bay station then the Wausau station. I was then accused of having a crush on Juls! I denied it and claimed that I lusted after her boat! That excuse seemed to work. :)

Juls, I never thought of you as shy?????

Sorry, but Jason P. and I were out on Oconto Reef pulling crawler harnesses with snapweights. We had the big weight for day two (28+#'s). I didn't fish the river at all during the tourney, only during pre-fishing. Day one, my pro took me for a butt busting ride up to Monument Shoal, and we zeroed. Must have been one of the other ladies you saw that day. ;-)
Juls
Sorry juls I meant the mwc tourney. You did pretty well in that one!

Oh yeah, ok, gotcha! Up on the Menomonee River right? The first day was Awsome. Jenn was in the back of the boat Lindy Rigging and I was pitching a crawler on a plain hook with just a splitshot (very effective that day). We caught tons of fish (60-70?) that day with only 4 weigh fish. Those smallies were fun to catch, but would be more fun when I'm not fishing for walleye in a tournament..LOL
Day two of that tourney was not as good as day one (30 fish?) on that spot, because the water levels had gone up too much. We only got two keepers that day.
Are we thinking of the same place now? ;-)
