How many Walleye Central guys/girls are attending Ted's Walleye Institute on 1/3. This will be my first time and am really looking forward to the day. Look for the middle aged guy with a full grey beard and a W.C hat, would like to meet some of the cyber bunch.

I'm going, and bringing a friend along. I'll keep an "eye" out for you, and say hello..;-)
I saw Ted at the Madison Fishing Expo yesterday. After his seminar, he came to our Dick Smith's Bait and Tackle booth, and did a little "in-store" promo for the No-Snagg Timb'r Rock jigs. He put some snaggly branches on the floor, and was dancing one of the jigs through the limbs, to show how good they work. Let me just say, that it only took him 15 minutes to sell out all our stock of them! Thanks Ted!
I'm really looking forward to the Institute. It should be a good learning experience and a really good time.

Oops, I posted the wrong date for Ted's institute. Correct date is 3/3 and not 1/3.

If you're referring to the one in the Chicago area, I'll be there. Does anyone know how many people are signed up? Is there another program going on somewhere else? I'm planning to get there early to mingle a bit.
For those coming in from out of town, it's worth noting that the Bass Pro Shop is 30-40 minutes away. There is also a large B&T, Ed Shirley Sports about 15 mins North w/ clearance rods & reels (on the way to Bass Pro).
In case someone wants to say hello or....take a swing :-)... I'll wear a name tag that says steve(IL) on it.

I'll look forward to meeting all of the WC folks there as well. Will be traveling with my family from Eau Claire, WI and staying Friday and Saturday night. Can't wait to take the chill out of the winter!

Just had two friends die (age 62 and 64) this past week and the funerals will be Friday and Saturday. As a result, I won't be able to make it this weekend. Sorry to say it, but first things first. Have to pay my respects!
