I know everybody has walleye on the brain in here, just wondered if any diehard perch jerkers are doing
any good in the areas from Lorain to Cleve! Im assuming ill have to catch my own bait or are there
any bait stores still open?Sw wind should permit me to fish on Sat,Sun! Any reports greatly
appreciated! Thanks Mike

Call Craig at Erie Outfitters( Avon lake), he's still open.

every time i've gotten out of late i've managed limits. i have been fishing in 40 f.o.w. right near the 72nd lighthouse. some real nice jumbos are being caught. shiners are pretty thick in the launch areasas well as near shore areas, netting bait is no problem, i haven't bought any bait in at least a month or so.

Id assume you are netting the shiners at night?? Dont remember seeing them at the ramps during daylight hours, also what kind of net do you use and where to get one?? I may try for perch one more time before its too late.

month or so, with my cast net, EARLY Morn, and sometimes late in the afternoon/w/spot light!
Tomm looks a lil "Risky", Sunday may be an option!

Brian, if you can't find them at the docks just go inside the marina where they tie the boats. They stay in there diring the day.
Tight lines!

i use an umbrella net (i think that's what it's called). got it at dick's for $12. iv'e been netting them during the daylight hours, tried once before sunup and had a harder time getting them.
