Any SAFE ice on the Bay ? Thinking about doing some Perch jerkin' this weekend. Thanks for any info. Bob WC#253.

Bob , last i heard you can still make a half mile. To bad that warm weather and southwest blow happened it was going real good before that.

BOB: I GOT NINE DIFFERENT REPORTS LAST NIGHT AND IT APPEARS THERE IS ANYWHERE FROM 4" - 10" OF ICE ANYWHERE FROM PALMER RD. OVER TO THOMAS POINT. BEST ICE APPEARS TO BE ON THE WEST SIDE. LINWOOD RD ICE IS 6"-8" UP TO 3 MILES OUT. HOPE THIS HELPS. BE CAREFUL. DUFFY

I think if you go 3 miles out of linwood you'll be swimming....Jimmy
I know people out at least 2 miles yesterday off palmer rd, they said ice was at least 5 inches 2 miles out. They caught 4 keepers, in 7-8 FOW.

Can someone recomend a guide for saginaw bay? With no ice in Ohio I am going for a ride north. Want to fish Sat and Sun with guide for sat to show us around. Have all of our own gear just need ice? TIA

Good luck, keep in touch. I have some info for Gorgian Bay sounds like it's worth looking into.Hope to be fishing in 7 to 10 days. Just can't wait to see the sun set over Mouse!! Know what I mean??
