Has anyone been on Mille Lacs this week?

I was thinking of making a trip this weekend, but I am afraid I have missed the action (from a few weeks ago)?

Any information/advise would be greatly appreciated.

Any advise on a resort to get a Road Pass from if I intend to travel by ATV to the flats (is this still possible with all of the snow)? Which would be the closest place (St. Albans, Twin Pines etc.)?

Hunters Point, or Liberty Beach on the east side.

Advise against ATV after today. Especially if the wind picks up.

Was just at Liberty Beach on Thursday trying to get to the flats. As of then, they didn't have a road going to the flats.

Any word on whether ATV/Portable travels would be possible as of today/for the upcoming weekend?

How has the bite been (what time of day has produced best numbers, and what areas of the lake)?

Snowmobile would be better, with towbar on your Clam/Otter. There's a lot of snow, with hidden heaved up ice under drifts that you cannot see.
