Hey there guys, just wanted to let you all know I been fishing on Monday and was awesome. Caught lots of fish and up to 7 pounds.

Would you say it pays to come up next week or wait until you can get the big rigs in and the lake eyes are running more?

I would definately so come up but you'll have to see if Franz or birchdale launches are open. If not you can always cross the border and come to Emo or Barwick. The big ones are awaiting and the water is dropping so that means they'll bunch up more. I'll leave my # and email addy, 807-482-1060 harv445@yahoo.com

Harvey, think the plan is to come up next Tues. and fish till Fri. Think I should bring the big boat? I guess Birchdale is open for over shore ice but it's a lot more comfortable and easier to fish in the big rig other than the duck boat!
