View Full Version : Ram-Mount and Suction Cup for GlobalMap 100

I've been thinking I will need to get the Ram-Mount for my GlobalMap 100. Because of limited space on my boat, I will need to use the suction cup mount for it. Will it hold the weight?
Also, does anybody know where I can get the mount cheaper than LEI Extras wants to charge ($48!)?
Cabelas does not carry it.
The ram mount is a great choice for the global map 100.
For boating use, and what you have invested in the GPS, I would never use the suction mount system. There is simply too much possibility of the GPS coming loose in a big wave, and you can watch your investment being broken on the boat floor, or lost overboard.
You can go directly to the RAM web site and order from them directly. I don't know what their current price is however.

I checked the dealer sites for RAM - and one well known site was Reeds in northern MN.
