Fished Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. We didn't catch a single fish. Talked to one guy on Friday night that had one dandy of a fish, about 9lbs. Also talked to another guy Saturday night that fished all day for one smaller fish. The 9 was in shallow water, and the other was in 40ft.

Water temp was around 43 at the river and 48ish near the dam.

wheels,

How is the water level looking? Was the Elkhorn ramp in the water? Also, were the docks in the water at Bennet? Whisky? Indian Hills?

Sorry, I didn't look at the Elkhorn Ramp. The water was just about to the high water ramp at Whiskey. Bennett Hill has a dock in the water, Whiskey doesn't.

I talked with a game warden while I was there. He said that 25,000 people enter that park on an average weekend, and an average of 40,000 people enter on a holiday weekend.

Also, if you camp at the lake, be aware that Sandy beach (the actual beach) will be closed to camping. It's all chained off. That's gonna put all those "players" somewhere else.
