went perchin yesterday and today....tried the west wall of port yesterday and no bites....went coho fishin and got one small coho east of doughnut....very few salmon caught saturday....sunday i decided to try the gary lighthouse...was the only boat there early...we went to 40 ft just on the north side of the light...just off the area of the wall as it gets more level...and we did very well...two limits of nice perch...quite a few in the 10-11 inch..few 12's....not any really biggies but nice fish...turned off at 8:30 am promptly....steve

Very good! While you were perchin', I was installing the burglar alarm system in the house. Wiring done, electric done, plumbing going, burglar alarm done, brick starts tomorrow, and we should be ready for fall fishing! Keep up the good work! You bum!

ron...i promise to think of you when i'm pulling up that next 12" perch off the cold bottom of lake michigan and when my wife deep fries him... it will bring memories of when you took me fishin on your nice lake and instill the expectation of when you invite me to catch those nice crappie on the lake you are slaving away this yrs fishing for...steve
