Springs here!
Wondering how many are planning on heading up to Big Stone or Traverse for the border opener on the 30th?
Eyez are you going to make it? I've extended an invite to CROST but you know how that guy can be.....bout like pulling teeth to get him on the water! ;-)

Bullhead:
Is there a special license required for the border waters? I have heard tales of nice walleyes caught late at night on Traverse. Maybe make it down there this year. Have some time off that week.
Thanks for the info/heads-up.

Bigstone is expecting a record opener this year in relation to the number and size of fish caught opening weekend. Net surveys indicated a strong population of walleyes in the 15-18" class. You can bet I'll be there. Gotten to be a tradition for my son and I. He looks forward to it all year round. We'll launch the boat at 11:59am on the 29th. Fish till we fill,.....usually an hour or two, head back to the campsite, grill brats, and drink a beer before turning in around 3-4 am.
Looking forward to it again this year. Best of luck everyone!

Nah I'll be on Thompson getting ready for the GNWC tournament there on may 8th. I'd be there otherwise, should be a good year for big stone. Sounds like the water's warming up quick and isn't too green yet.
