Whanting to got up to Huron in the Cranberry Creek area for walleye. Is there a bite in this area? I have a 16 foot boat. Would I be able to get to the fish? Are the bigger fish in the area in the 8-10# class or would I be wasting my time coming up this week. Thanks for any help.

Ya you'd be wasting your time, Gale winds, Cold front, 4-7's of snow forcasted for tonight. I believe NE winds all week too.
If I agree with you, then we'd both be wrong.
Before the wind kicked up there were a few eyes being taken, some real dandys. the lake is now again muddy, and very rough. as soon as it settles back down there will be plenty here for us . As usual, a typical spring, nasty weekends for fishin, but it will get going as soon as mother nature gets ready . good luck and good fishin.
