st.clair river

i know things are running a little late this season,but has anyone done anything on st.clair river yet?

Did well on salmon a few weeks back. Picked up a 7# spawned out walleye that hit our downrigger a few weeks back. Was there last Friday fishing for salmon and talked to a boat that said they were doing really well on the eyes. Didn't say how many, but I'm sure someone will chime in soon.

Mark, have talked to several guys who have done well with the night time casting twister's off the wall fishing that they do in Port Huron. Jigging should be going ok if the wall action has already started. Still a lot of salmonoids in the river as a bonus

spent a few great hours with fishing buddy and his two great sons on the river saturday,only managed four walleyes but had a great time.water is cold 41/42 gonna try again saturday i hope.fish came on jigs with twister body and minnow.
