I live in Southeastern Ohio and was wandering if anyone can help me find a place on the web that is carrying the Rapala Pearl White Shad Raps. The only place that I have seen them was when I went to Minnesota to fish at Leech Lake, at Reed's Sporting goods store. I purchased a couple there. I just got through contacting Cabelas, but they said that they don't carry that color in the shad raps. They also said that they would past my inquiry onto their purchasing department. Any information would be helpful.

The Pearl Shads are a Canadian release only. Several Minnesota retailers have purchased them from Canadian sport shops to resell. If you check with "Pro-Am Tackle" in Winnipeg, Boris the owner can probably get you some. I am sorry that I don't have his phone number but maybe someone else here can post it for you. Otherwise I don't know where you can get them...

Bambam, I have seen them on ebay also. They had a couple of them on their last week. A person was selling them for $30 for two, at the time I saw them. Who would want to buy them for that price? Not me.

Howdy.....looking for whites ? E mail me & we can set something up to get you some. I'm in Winnipeg & they are available here. I personally have tons of them & they do work well ! Just ask Todd/ne or go to the "ten pound" club & look for some of Todd's pictures there ! If you go thru a store etc, you'll have to pay taxes (Cdn & Us) plus duties. I can send them to you as a "gift" & there for no US tax/duty.

Saw them in Reed's today - $10 a pop!

WOW, they are hammering you with those prices. Sorry Reeds, but you are. Up here they retail for around 8 - 9 bucks cdn.
I would guess that when the USA stores purchase them,pay tax,duty & brokerage fees, & shipping costs, it must all add up quick.

You are right about those Pearl Shad Raps, they are one hot bait!!! Not just in Canada either. Thanks for all your help over the years, We're planning to be up your way roughly Oct 6-11 and 20-22 this year again.
One tip on those pearl raps is to add some color with magic markers. I won't tell you the Rob/Roach secret though... lol.

Anglers Supply in Omaha, was there today and they have a great selection of the Pearl Shad Raps and a great selection of Tail Dancers. The store is one of the best fishing stores around, great selection, great prices and they carry about everything. Phone #402-592-3788 ask for Dave he's the owner and a nice guy.

I was in Thorne Brothers (Minneapolis) today and noted that they have a good selection of the pearl white shad raps in stock. I forgot to check the price, unfortuately.
I talked to Bill Lundeen a few nights ago and he had them
in the Shop
