just got back from a great 6 days in lake Erie. First time i ever got to fish six days straight w/o being blown off the lake.
caught fish from the gravel bar by west sister all the way to east of kelley's Island. we drifted and trolled. marks were better by west sister but fish were bigger by the East side of Kelly's.

For me only fishing the lake two time per year, I appreciate your posts helping with locations and presentation. plenty to eat till fall now.
looks like the fish are just starting to group up into there summer patterns!!

Oh yeah dipseys and spoon at 2 mph 65 back on #3

The Western Basin is Packed with fish right now ----- Best days to fish are over cast skies. The schools of walleye run for miles. Basically the spoon bite is on!!! Had a great weekend myself with Trophy and friends caught several keepers and alot of throw backs which is always a good sign!!! It was neat to see the walleye actually rise on the fishfinder and see the V,S POINTING up they definately had there feed bags on. A hot spoon is the Happy Hooker check it out. We bought a couple at Happy Hookers bait shop----It was hot!!!----No I am not affliated with them in any way----However I do appreciate good service and advice----Good people there.

I will second the Happy Hooker spoon - Was prolly our second best spoon with Pooh Bear Purple being slightly better this past weekend. Other good ones are Snatch It, Lami Cakes, and Sir Walleye, all exclusive colors from Happy Hooker...Not Pluggin em or affiliated, but just telling ya some good colors to pick up and toss out...
