Does anyone have any experience with the DGPS reciever with a LMS 350A? How accurate is the LMS350A when used with a DGPS receiver? Is the receiver something I can install or is it something a dealer has to do? Is it worth the extra $400.00 for the receiver? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

First, you have to make sure you have DGPS coverage where you fish. If you have coverage, the 350 GPS should be as accurate as any other GPS with DGPS correction. Whether it is worth the money depends on how much accuracy you need. GPS usually advertised as within 90 meters 95% of the time. With DGPS about 5 meters 95% of the time. Both are generally closer.

I have a lms350a with the dgps. It does a good job of increasing accuracy. I fish out of Port Clinton and use the Detroit dgps station. It is available most of the time, but does fade on occasion.
My book says 100 meter without and 10 meter with dgps..
