I fished the north end of the lake 4th of July weekend by the Ohio stumps and got a few walleyes. I am heading up again this weekend and would like to get a few tips on where they are catching walleyes. I prefer to drift the south end, by any tips would be well appreciated.
I'll give a report on Monday.

Only got the chance to fish friday and saturday. I trolled and drifted all feets of water in several places that usual get a few walleye between the dam and the jamestown beach. Got zero walleye and only a few good hits that could have been walleye. Did get a lot of panfish and a few nice size bass trolling.
I heard there was better luck up north.

Yea, for once, we hit it right and well all things considered.
The fish were still hitting when we rolled off the water at 1 pm... but we were just about out of bait anyway and couldn't take anymore of the sun.
My report from 7/10 is on page 2.
