it was a little rough out yesterday, yeh, the weather guys were wrong again. they said less than 2 ft. 4 or 5 boats came back in while i was launching and on my way out. as it turns out it wasn't bad enough to put it back on the trailer. i ran all the way up to the dumping grounds with the plan to troll all the way back to sterling and take advantage of the wind. on the way i switched from bouncers and spinners(just picking up little fish) to spoons behind mini discs. i ran over a small school of eater sized fish between the banana dike and fermi and got my limit in a couple of hours. the 2 spoons that did the damage were a pa's bullshark(w/a streak of pink) and a lurr-jensen firetiger. anything firetiger that i've put in the water in the last 2 weeks has caught fish. anyway, i was done by noon and the ride in was much nicer than the ride out.
when we lose the 2nd. amendment the others will be history too!
