We are planning to fish Pymatuning this Sat/Sunday and looking for any information on the lake. We fish Pymatuning 1,2 weekends each May, but have never fished it this late in summer.

Any tips would be appreciated. I will provide feedback next week on our results.

Thanks for the info. I'd be happy with 1 5 lb'er. My dad has 2 rods rigged with lead line. We normally fish the N end in May - Tuttle, stumps, spillway, etc. We'll try the south end this weekend. We have 5 guys / 2 boats. I'll post our results.

Here is my last report from #72790, "Pymie fish bite - Sunday July 10th"

Two friends anyd myself found the bite from about 8:30 am to 1pm in 13-14 fow N. end of lake. Clear skies, about 80 degrees. Water temp 78. No wind. Got 10 walleye including 4 throw-backs. Biggest was 22". Blue/white 3/16 oz jig heads w/ nightcrawler or leeches on red #6 hooks with 4 BB split shot. Lost a few nice ones near the boat as well... plus countless good hits. Hope this helps some of you who are headed up. I get alot of good information from this site, now we finally have something that we hope helps someone else. Good luck!

As I plan to go again this weekend, weather permitting, I hope this is still a pattern that works.
