fished 12.pm to 6.00 pm no bites .6 miles out of beaver
thanks for the update. went out on a 330 heading from hotwatters last saturday. guessing we ended up due north of vermilion, it was a long ride. one keeper and 7-8 toss backs and 9-10 sheep ( 2 drifters). all eyes came on copper or gold harnesses. we were drifting. a coupple cocky trolers were whining about 20-30 tosss backs and 3-6 keepers, but we rolled our eyes knowing how hard the year has been. I for one an happy to see a fantasticly healthy and strong year class comming up and hope for a mild spring or three to bring the population clost to that of the glory days. for now, 1-3 eaters is good for sunday dinner, I have plenty of perch in the freezer for the cooler months.

Trolled 2:30 til 8:30PM west side of the sand bar. Worm harnesses on dipseys. Picked up 25 to 30 walleyes and a few stripped bass. NO KEEPERS.
Fished Thursday evening. Started @ the 30/20 based on a tip. Nothing there. Started looking at the 17.5 line all the way to the 20 - NADA. Boats in the area were doing nothing. Ran back towards the east side of the bar looking all the way. Finally started to mark some fish around the 32/14, however large marks very few and far between. Fished the general area for 2 hours kept one threw back 10. Thinking of running out east and north of Avon to deeper water. Anybody tried it ??? - Born Again II - Out <><
