4 of us fished out of Conneaut 06/37 area, we kept 18 and threw back a bunch of 15-16inch fish. #3 dipsey 128back and jet 40s with 2oz inline weights back 130-150 back was good. The downriggers took 5 which is the most all year so far. Lami Cakes and Pooh Bear purple was good as well as Cat Dog. No BIG fish like last week but did manange a nice 29incher- sure seems like the bulk of the fish are gone east

Well once again CAPT. THOMAS put us on the fish. He showed us how to catch them, thats for sure! Brian really started showin off about mid day with a nice triple. But i contributed with my sub legal 1. He reals in 3 nice keepers, and i get 1 15 incher. Had a great day on the water. Total 18 eyes and 2 steelies. 20 throw backs. REMEMBER EVERY DOG HAS HIS DAY , AND MINE IS COMING SOON.

i think for these dogs to have some more days we may need to get a NY license at least until the water cools off. Always a good time fishing with you Al!

KEVIN you may want to go more east than geneva. From what we saw thursday i believe alot of the bigger fish are in PA or NY. We caught alot more spikes this trip ,last time we only got a few. If you can i would at least go to conneaut. fish 74 to 76 fow. We had to really change alot to get a program together. Purples in the morning, pinks in the afternoon ,and chartruse in the evening.

Well the plan is Geneva and I did get some numbers from a friend where the charters where working and another guy I met online will be out of Geneva also. I am pretty confident bewteen the numbers and the other guy we should be able to put it together. I would go further east but time is an issue a little bit we have people that have to be back in cleveland at 2 or 3 so the extra drive time is the issue. I am going to New York in the next two weeks so I will have plenty of fun up there. they are smoking the hogs up there

We went out early wednesday morning, managed to get our limit for 2 guys. Wire line was the ticket. The one rod that we had it on(used an old gold rattle tot), caught 8 of the 12. A lead cored hot n tot caught a few, and a dipsey and meat caught another. Everything was deep, lots of marks 50ft down. Found an active pod slightly west, in 73ft of water, by midday contacted another school north of the first trench east of where we were, again 73ft of water. Biggest of the day was 29inch, 2 27inchers, and only a few throw backs.
