The good bite continues on Little Bay de Noc. Kenneth and clients caught a nice limit today. Once again the fish came on crawler harnesses behind bouncers off boards. There are loads of walleye in the bay right now. And a good number of them are suspending in the top half of the water column. Atleast until someone flies over them running full throttle! Larger walleye are now coming from south of Round Island on Big Bay as well. Saw a nice 31 1/4 incher this past Saturday caught by the husband and wife team of Randy and Mary Joe Sharp. And this was the first time they fished Big Bay de Noc!!!
What's the limit in MI? My dad, son, and I have been tempted to make a 3 day trip up there from southern WI.

Sadly, you are only allowed to have five walleye in your posession at any one time. So stay someplace where you can cook, and eat walleye for dinner while you are here. Then take the last days catch home! The fish are scattered all over the place with no particular area being better than another most days. Unless the wind is blowing. Then certain areas do excel. But there are loads of fish at the north end especially along the east side of center reef. And the break on the east side south of Gladstone has been holding lots of fish as well. Especially the first mile or so south of Squaw Point. Trolling boards with spinners and crawlers has been working the best. Good luck...
